Friday night Matt picked me up at the airport and we went straight to Bucco to have Drew's Birthday dinner. We enjoyed a fun night of glow in the dark ultimate fribsee and Rocky 4 on the big screen by the pool. Good times!
So cute, I didn't know that you came from the airport thats to funny. I didn't get any pics. so Im glad you put yours on your blog! So I could see some.
We have been married for almost 9 years now. (Wow!) And all I can say is that it has been a fun ride and it only seems to get better. Matt and I met in Tennessee of all places. We shared our first kiss on the 4th of July in the cookie dough isle at the grocery store. That wasn't planned, it just happened that way. It took both of us by surprise, and it took my breath away. We both practically floated out of the grocery store, I don't remember much else about that night- just that crazy in love feeling. We got married that December in Arizona and nine months later moved to Utah so Matt could return to BYU to play volleyball. We loved our time at BYU. Although I started school as a ceramics major I ended up graduating in Marriage, Family, and Human Development. Matt helped bring home a national championship in volleyball, was recognized as an All-American, and was offered a position on the USA national team. After college we moved back to Arizona. I've been using all my college education for the past six years as a sales consultant for Medical Billing Software. (That was a joke about the college education part) Matt now owns his own landscape company. He really enjoys designing and seeing his work come together. The only additions we've had to our family are our two dogs- Rocky and Adrianne. We haven't quite figured out the baby thing yet, but we keep trying! We both work hard, but we take advantage of every minute we have off work. We love to get away for the weekend, and we love spending vacations with family and friends. We don't require anything fancy- just somewhere away from the AZ heat that we can kick back and enjoy a slower pace. Other than that, church always keeps us busy and we are happy to serve however we can. We feel really blessed to be where we are and to have the amazing family and friends that we do. We couldn't ask for anything more!
